How to: MLA format


When doing MLA format the font must be typed in 12-point times new roman. The paper should be double spaced in black ink and have one inch margins around the page. There also should be no extra spacing between paragraphs. Finally all ideas and subject matter should be written in the authors own words; there is no plagiarism.



                   

Title Page: The title page should have short all caps title and is to the left 1/2 inch from the top and the page number 1 is on the right on the same line. The paper should also match the title of the paper but no more than 50 spaces in length including the spaces.

The first letter of any major words capitalized,doubled spaced, centered on the upper half of the paper. The font must be Times New Roman 12 pt. font. Do NOT use italics, underlining, or abnormal font size.

The name should be double spaced under the name.
